I had no idea how magical Big Sur is. A lot of incredible creative work comes out of this place! I feel that this place changed my brain chemistry, leaving here I left with a better understanding what I wanted out of myself and some clarity on what I want in the future.
Day 1 - Friday
Fly to airport [San Francisco on American Airlines]
Picked up Car Rental [Alamo]
Drove to Santa Cruz
Companion Bakeshop
Walmart
Big Sur Lodge
Checked in
Ate at the lodge restaurant
Tip: Get your groceries while you're in the larger cities! Big Sur is very secluded and there are limited food options!
Day 2 - Saturday
Sleep in
Drove to COAST Big Sur Cafe just to find it was closed!
See the view off the side of the road
Met a cute strangers little dog and a new friend from New York
Visited Nepenthe
Julia Pfeiffer Waterfall (Closed when we went)
Explored the Ventana Camp Grounds
Ate at the Ventana Resort Restaurant (Literally above the clouds it was so cool)
Pfeiffer beach to watch the sunset
Visited the little convenience stores on the way back (Ripplewood was our favorite)
Got back to the lodge early to watch Shrek 2 + Ate our leftovers from Nepenthe
Day 3 - Sunday
Made Tea + Tyler was nice and tried to keep the tea hot while I was getting ready
Saw wild turkeys! (One almost attacked Tyler lololol)
Get gas lolol (we saw the wildest ads about energy drinks)
First Awakenings Breakfast (Best pancakes of my life)
Bookworks in Pacific Grove
Tried to go to the aquarium but wouldn't let us in with our coffees
Went to a Kritonio's Shell Shop and met the owner Debbie! Tyler and I bought our favorite jackets there.
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Caramel-By-The-Sea - We parked close to Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bikeshop - Walked around and explored the shops (You have to pay to use the restrooms here! I am so use to Texas lol)

Day 4 - Monday
Breakfast/Coffee at Captain + Stoker
Old Fisherman's Wharf
Whale Watching Tour
Sandbar and Grill
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
Back to Lodge
Watched Shrek 3 (Idk lololol)
Day 5 - Tuesday
Pfeiffer beach in the morning
Stopped at San Gregorio State Beach (Learned about the Life Cycle of a Steelhead Fish)
Drove through a long tunnel!
Checked into Axiom Hotel
Ate at Corzetti in San Franciso
Went back to Axiom and watched Shrinking!
Day 6 - Wednesday
Got lost in the city! (Tyler and I's GPS on our phones stopped working. So we were magically lateeeee to the airport, but we got lucky and our flight got delayed!)
Checked out
Returned the car
Hung out in my first airport lounge!!! (AHHH)
Back home to Texas!
